Dino Wonders

It was a summer day when I was about 13.Dad took me to visit the Shanghai Natural History Museum. Back then ,it was in an old building on Yan'an Road.

Dad used to work at a seafood  processing factory.As we walked past the fish specimens ,he has excited to share his knowledge."This fish sells fast,"he told me."It tastes great."The other visitors turned to stare at us as we walked on.

But when we were back in the hall to see the dinosaurs carefully, Dad was silent.Clearly, these giants couldn't be eaten.(If they were still alive, we might be on their meau!) The star exhibit was a Mamenchisaurus.It stood 22 meters tall and held its long neck high. I couldn't take my eyes off it.Many questions raced through my mind: What did it do all day? Now much did it eat?What was our planet like when it was alive? And why did it---and all the other dinosaurs---disappear?
