My Favorite Writer

My favorite writer is Lu Xun. He was born on September 25th, 1881, in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. He once studied medicine in Japan, hoping to save people's lives. However, he realized that saving people's minds was more important, so he turned to writing.

Lu Xun's works are full of deep - thought. His novels, like The True Story of Ah Q and Diary of a Madman, reflect the dark side of the society at that time. Through his words, he awakened the Chinese people. I like him because his works not only let me know about the history but also inspire me to think critically. His spirit of constantly fighting for justice and truth also deeply influences me. I believe his works will always shine brightly in the treasure - house of Chinese literature.
