[应用文写作之建议信]
Hi Richel,
Hope this email finds you well. I understand that starting high school can be a bit overwhelming and it's normal to feel unsure about making new friends. Don't be worry, I'm here to help! Here are some suggestions on how to expand your social circle:
Initially, smile and be friendly. A warm smile goes a long way in making a good impression. Try to approach people with a positive attitude and show genuine interest in getting to know them. In addition, learn to listen. Pay attention to what others are saying and show empathy. People appreciate when they feel heard and understood. Furthermore, be willing to express yourself. This will give you opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals. Lastly, be helpful. Offer your assistance whenever you can as being helpful is a great way to foster relationships.
Remember, making friends takes time. There are plenty of opportunities in high school to form lasting friendships. If you need any further advice, feel free to reach out to me. Best of luck!
Yours sincerely,
Helene

Oppenheimer, the American Prometheus
Prometheus endured a cruel punishment for stealing fire.
Robert Oppenheimer, an exceptential quantum physics theorist known as the "Father of the atomic bomb", led the Manhattan Project,
which aimed to research and develop weapons during World War Ⅱ. As the project's leader, he oversaw the construction of a small town
called Los Alamos and held various positions of authority. Over a period of two years, he dedicated himself to the task of ending the war
quickly and ensuringz the safe return of sodiers. Driven by a strong sense of purpose, they spared no effort in their pursuit of a miracle,
despite the immense time pressure.
Alongside his heavy responsibilities and burdens, Oppenheimer grapped with ethical dilemmas, fully aware of the devastating power
of the atomic bomb and the loss of innocent lives it entailed. He detested failure and wished to prevent such tragedies.
When the rose-colored mushroom cloud illuminated the horizon, Pandora's box had been opened.
After the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Oppenheimer felt as though his hands were stained with blood, leading him to deeply
reflect on the moral and ethical implications of nuclear weapons.Post-war, he advocated for nuclear non-proliferation and the peaceful use
of nuclear energy, leveraging his reputation. However, when he became embroiled in America's messy politics, his aggression and outspoken
nature offended many people. During a discussion on uranium exports to the Netherlands, Oppenheimer refuted Louis Strauss and humiliated
him, causing Strauss to hold a grudge and seek revenge. This eventually resulted in Oppenheimer having his security clearance revoked.
Examining Oppenheimer's life, we find a combination of extreme contradictions: ambitious yet insecure, brilliant yet childish, deceitful yet
confused. He was Oppenheimer, a martyr for peace–an American Prometheus.

为什麽要把照片贴在帖顶呢?一是这个帖子太惨凉,而是因为今天A哥@Avaik. 才回归,估计是没看到的(毕竟他的爆照颗棵还是看了所以不能昧纸良心让他就这麽错过了)
